Phil Peacy, Helena, Montana
I started fly fishing at the age of seven, first by tying flies, and then it grew into an obsession.
I spent countless weeks driving and many nights sleeping in Walmart parking lots in the Driftless Region, learning how to read water and tie better flies.
I went on to college, where I deepened my love for fly fishing and honed my skills near Lake Superior.
I had the opportunity to be a shop boy my sophomore year of college, which led me to being a guide on the Missouri River. I am also experienced in guiding the Blackfoot and Bighorn rivers in Montana.

Anden Stroik, Duluth, Minnesota
Growing up on the water in Duluth is where it all started for me. Time spent on the lake wasn’t occasional—it was constant, and it is what has built the foundation for everything I do today. That early exposure is what fuels my passion for building quality rods and catching big fish!
I primarily fish for lake trout and salmon on Lake Superior and Lake Michigan, along with fly fishing in a wide range of locations and conditions across much of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Those fisheries demand precision, durability, and performance—there’s no room for average gear when you’re targeting fish like that.
After growing up in Duluth, I attended Northland College in Ashland, WI, where I spent countless hours fishing around the Apostle Islands, Lake Superior, and its tributaries. That time pushed my understanding of fish behavior, changing conditions, and what truly makes gear perform when it matters.
Today, I focus on building custom rods designed from real experience—not theory. Every rod is built with a purpose: to give anglers the performance, feel, and reliability needed to fish at a higher level.
If you’re serious about your gear, you’re in the right place.

Rudy Ruegemer, St. Cloud, Minnesota
Fishing in northern and central Minnesota has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Early mornings, long days on the water, and learning through experience created a deep respect for the outdoors.
I’ve learned a lot over the years just by being out there, paying attention to conditions, patterns, and how fish move.
Alongside fishing, I make decals and graphics for clothing and other merchandise on the website, pulling from inspiration and the time I’ve actually spent outdoors.
